You will work together to compare and contrast two forms of discrimination that occur around the world.
I will assign you a question for you to research and you will choose to compare the struggle of the Dalits (in India) with that of either African Americans in the United States, Aborigines in Australia, or the black Africans in South Africa during Apartheid (choose one).
You will then create three powerpoint slides in class to answer the questions. Structured in the following manner:
State the Research Question and put your names
Findings for the group you chose
Findings for the Dalits
We will present these slides on FRIDAY, so if you do not finish in the library, you must do so at home! You may email it to yourself or drop it your dropbox if you do not have a flash drive.
You must bring your slides in on a flash drive at the beginning of class on Friday so we can compile the slides and present.
